Senator Mike Gravel who was Senator from Alaska from 1969-1981 joins us to talk about Daniel Elsberg, the Pentagon Papers and his role in making sure that the public got to read the real reasons for why they were in Vietnam. He also talks about the intelligence agencies and lack of civilian oversight. He also expresses his concern for the US foreign policy.
