Notwithstanding the fact, that Hitler was made chancellor after a secret backroom-deal with industrialists.
This election cycle, far too many people talked about how voting for Hindenburg would have stopped Hitler, including columnists for the Washington Post. However, through his ideology and actions, Hindenburg paved the way for Hitler to become the leader of Germany. Therefore, we decided that it was important to debunk this myth once in for all.
